Espionage Unboxing the Second
This month, we have four nail wraps plus a loose eyeshadow. I had never tried Espionage’s shadows before this, but I had always wanted to. So I was excited to give it a whirl.
Athena is an eye-, cheek-, and lip-safe shadow the color of red clay. It’s a medium-to-dark matte shadow that goes on really easily and stays put even in the hot North Carolina summers (with eyeshadow primer, of course. Here’s what I use.).
It works well alone or blended with other shadows. It’s definitely something that’s made its way into my regular eyeshadow rotation.
Steampunk 2.0 is one of Espionage’s new offerings. It’s got a bit of sparkle and a ton of old-timey awesome. It makes me want to wear them while reading “Hinges” (which if you’re not reading, you should be).
This is my favorite from this month. Eagle Nebulae features gorgeous images from that nebula. These have a glow-in-the-dark Easter egg that’s just delightful.
Patchwork is a gorgeous array of purple and neon green. (Note that the third color, which looks a bit gray on the website, is actually white.) These would be great for Halloween—or a reading of “Frankenstein.”
Last, but certainly not least, we have an ode to everyone’s favorite angry, green man. Smashing is green and purple and glittery and awesome. And, honestly, who doesn’t want an excuse to Hulk Smash stuff, right?
If you’re interested in Espionage subscriber boxes, you don’t have to wait too much longer. The customer is going to open up subscriptions to the public in December. The boxes will start shipping in January.
TL;DR: The unboxing in gif form.
