American Gods by Neil Gaiman: The Tenth Anniversary Edition (A full cast production). The narrators were great and I want to like this book. I couldn’t get into it. I have committed what feels like a literary faux pas.
14 by Peter Clines: One of the best books I’ve listened to this year. All books following this one seem inadequate.
Reboot by Amy Tintera: Very cool idea that gets dragged through the mud of Young Adult Romance.
American Horror Story (Season One: Murder House): Creepy, captivating, with clever twists. I want to die in the Murder House.
American Horror Story (Season Two: Asylum): All over the place. Too many ideas. Aliens, Nazis, Demons, Serial Killers, Mad Scientist Creations. Disturbing, historical-based concepts.
Outlander: Interesting protagonist, time travel, hot Scottish man, really pretty cowl scarves. Frank is a bore and Jamie is the best.
Gone Girl: Picture three women in the theatre covering their mouths and noses during a particularly intense and gruesome scene. Kept me guessing and I liked it a great deal. Problematic people could use it as fuel to their fire.
This Is Where I Leave You: Good cast, can always appreciate the antics of a crazy family that’s not your own. Wasn’t bad nor brilliant.
