April Loot Crate Unboxing: Dragon!
I was excited when I heard the theme for this month’s Loot Crate, mostly because I was hoping to find a little Dragon Age love in there.
I was disappointed on the “Dragon Age” front, but there was still a lot of cool stuff in the box (most of which now decorates my son’s bedroom floor.)
This is the unpacked box. Two vinyl figures were included this month, which is really cool. I’m building quite a little vinyl figure army. When we overrun the world, remember to thank Loot Crate.
This is the figurine that was inside the Game of Thrones box. It is a dragon. It is white. I don’t watch Game of Thrones, so that’s really all the information I have on it, except that it’s super adorable.
This little guy is a Nord from Elder Scrolls Online. He is also super adorable, and his ax and helmet are removable. I am not taking them off for these pictures, though, because he is a fierce warrior and I respect his ferocious warrior-ness.
I’m not saying I’ve staged epic Nord/ Dragon battles against a Loki/Deadpool Funko army, but I’m also not saying I HAVEN’T done that.
This is beef jerky. I am a vegetarian.
Two d20s! The large orange one is a foam stress ball that I really liked. My son really liked it, too, so I have no idea where it is. The small black one is a standard generic d20.
This month’s pin.
This is a necklace.
I was a little underwhelmed by the inclusion of this screen cleaner. It’s foamy on one side and sticky on the other, and the idea is to stick it to whatever item has a screen that needs frequent cleaning. That way, you can have a screen cleaner handy at all times.
My attitude changed quite a bit when I used it on my touchscreen laptop. It’s amazing, guys. It stays where I need it without getting in the way, it’s always where I left it, and the fact that it’s super cute is the frosting on the clean-screen cake. (That metaphor doesn’t really work, but I stand by it.)
I don’t know if this would be as useful on a phone. The screen cleaning aspect works wonderfully, but I suspect the sticky side isn’t quite sticky enough to keep it from getting lost if it were attached to something that gets handled a lot. Still, I’m thinking of grabbing a couple more just to have around.
There you have it- this month’s Loot Crate!
